December Meeting – Highlights (2 minutes) Budget update Theatre Arts: Classroom donations at $5,000; HH may $9,912 Marching Band: Should achieve $150,000 budget with generous private donation, grant, and matching funds Approved $3,000 to be spend toward music folders Fundraising update Already have $6K in donations for Crab Feed Working with AVAC to get 5K logo done early ACTS bake sale made $1,100 District meeting summary Need to review certificate of liability and how each piece of equipment is getting inventoried We file as one booster, but do our own separate fundraising sheets Open Discussion on December 05, 2016 Minutes

PAPA/HSC Split (10 minutes) Creates win/win for HSC and PAPA 3 month process No more than $1,000 one time fee Ready in time for 2017 Marching Band season

Department Service Hours (5 minutes) Department Services Hours changing Volunteer job must be aligned to the department objectives Music volunteering should be tied to developing skills in music department Theater volunteering should be tied to developing skills in theater Impacts how students can support our fundraisers  No longer can do just labor We are covered for Crab Feed this year; kids will both serve and perform Need to discuss solve for this for future fundraisers

HSC Report (2 minutes) ASB Events Successful Make a Wish – earned $1500 Multi-Cultural Day – more diversity; raised $2500 to fund Kids Against Hunger Stress Relief Week went well Winter Dance – Glass Slipper Ball WASC updates – Culture focus group planning a “random acts of kindness week”, all focus groups were surveyed on extra credit and late work and grading
