‘Sleeping Beauty’ Senior Pantomime Auditions S4/5/6 Senior Audition Process If you have put your name forward for auditioning, this will take place on Thursday 16/6/2016 after school. These auditions will take place in Music. If you need any more information, could you see Mr Jack, Mrs Young or Mrs Ferguson please?

Senior College Group Seniors who are part of the college group should have been issued with a letter with a parental return concerning study either in school or at home. If you haven’t been given this letter or have lost the original please come to the office. The signed parental slip MUST be returned to the office before the end of term.

STEM Summer School Location: Forth Valley College, Falkirk Campus Dates: 1st - 5th August 2016 (9am - 4pm each day) Overview of Course: STEM Summer School is a week where you will be given sessions in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. You will decide on a project to work on and will be supported by a subject specific mentor. The project is to show 10 hours work. You can choose your own project from any of the four STEM subject areas. If the work is completed to satisfactory level, you will be awarded a bronze Crest Award (there is scope for a 30 hour silver award if you really get in to it and do the work in your own time). Target Group: 11-14 year olds Cost: Still to be confirmed. We are currently applying for funding for this course. Applications will open once this has been finalised.

S3 Poetry Competition Well done to the winners of the S3 poetry competition. The standard of the poetry was excellent and winners were chosen by our Stirling University student and by members of the Advanced Higher class. Congratulations to Joseph Hewer 3E2, Lewis Mulheron 3S1, Urszula Lauterbach 3S1, Holly Graham 3B2, Struan Ryan 3S1 and Cara Vickers 3B2.

Armed Forces Day The school was represented at the flag-raising in support of Armed forces day by three S6 students who are all members of the Advanced Higher Maths class. Nicole Hughes, Ryan McMillan and Kieran Hoggan did a great job at the town Hall last Wednesday.
