The story This story is one girl and one boy love story. A heroine was just breaking up with her not-so-smart boyfriend, But Burce is different. when Bruce headed her off at a campus pass one morning to walk with her. He helped her carry her books and made her laugh with giddiness. she really liked him. They started to walk together more at school. He would send her books, cards, notes, and would sit with her at her house for hours listening to music. The card of the conference, ”I miss you when I’m sad. I miss you when I’m lonely. But most of all, I miss you when I’m happy.” He especially liked her to listen to the song, “You Brought Some Joy Inside My Tears,” by stevie Wonder. He gave her the book The Little Prince, with the words underlined, “It’s only in thy[ðái] mind’s eye that one can see rightly.” she’s In response wrote passionate letters of love and poetry to him with an intensity she never knew before. But she wanted the old habits of popcorn, movies and gossip back. It was so much easier. So she was going back to her old boyfriend And she said. “Old habits die hard.”

Years went by. She knew just by the way his family behaved that Bruce had forgiven her. Finally She knew Bruce had admired her writing as much as she had his intelligence. Over the years, They are lost touch. The last she heard form his father, Bruce had gone off to San Francisco and was thinking about becoming a chef. she went through dozens of bad relationships until she finally married a wonderful man – also very smart. she was more mature by then and could handle her husband’s intelligence-especially when he’d remind her. There’s not one other boyfriend she ever think about with any interest, except for Bruce. Most of all, she hope he is happy. He deserves it. In many ways, she think he helped shape her, helped me learn how to accept the side of herself. He taught her how to see her spirit and her writer inside.

When would is used to express this idea, it has the same meaning as used to(habitual past) ex) He used to send me book, cards and notes.
