Our project idea was to find a way of sharing our best memories and funny experiences of being at St. George’s. So we created a huge map of the school and added memories and pictures to it.

Over the last few weeks we have discussed, planned and reminisced our way through the creation of our final masterpiece! We thought about how memories are often linked to music so we decided to add an musical walk down our memory lane of St. George’s. Memory lane ended up having more bumps in it than we would have liked!

Our plan! Everyone had to think of their favourite memory from their time at St. George’s. We needed to get a large map of the school so that we could put our memories on it. Michael kindly resized an existing map and Mrs Dhaliwal enlisted the help of Mrs Fennings to find out someone who could print it big enough. We then had to convince Ms Francis that it was worth her parting with the money for our ‘board’

Us being busy little bees

More of our plan! We wrote down our memories – anonymously of course – and decided we needed pictures too When the board finally arrived we started to decorate it – funny how lots of Y12 and Y13 like sticking things down and cutting out!

More of us being busy little bees

And here is our finished memories board – we hope you will come and take a look at it in the upstairs study area. We hope it will make you smile and bring back some of your best memories of being here at St. George’s
