Points in the answer must be linked coherently and logically Suitable linking words could be ‘so’, ‘therefore’, ‘because’, ‘due to’, ‘since’, ‘this means’, or ‘meaning that’. All of the stages/steps in an explanation must be included to get full marks.

In pairs Looking at the question write down all the facts together that you think are important to included in the answer (HINT: we’ve been talking about momentum…) You have 3 minutes

In fours Compare your lists. Discuss the points you have made and together come up with the 6 points you think will answer all that the question needs.
