Eric Miller, Megan Gallagher & Melissa Mulvey FitnessConnect “Keeping you Connected, Informed and Prepared” Eric Miller, Megan Gallagher & Melissa Mulvey Thank you guys for coming Introduce group members by name: “…” Our project this semester was creating“ Fitness Connect” Our main goal was to create an information sharing platform where health physicians can communicate and monitor their patients outside of their office.

FitnessConnect Information Sharing Platform Users’ Data Healthcare Practitioner Problem & Solution User Over 20 million consumers use FitBit, Apple Watch and other health metric collecting devices The data the users collects is remote! Single Source of Truth Benefit For Users using it to share information with healthcare practitioners: Increased Visualization into health data by professionals Information Over 20 million consumers use FitBit, Apple Watch and other health metric collecting devices Users of FitBit, Apple Watch & other health metric collecting devices store data remotely The data you collect is only accessible to you, why have a Wi-Fi enabled device if your data stays in the same place forever? Unless you’re a professional you may not know exactly what you're doing right or wrong. Sure you burned 600 calories on your run and met your daily step goal, but you need to know more! Wouldn’t your health data be better understood by a healthcare professional like your physician? We think so and that’s where FitnessConnect comes into play. Solution I. Diagram Description: 1. Users Data: Our goal is to connect the users of health metric tracking devices with their Healthcare practitioners through FitnessConnect to take better advantage of Fitbit/Smartwatch technology 2.Fitness Connect (Information Sharing Platform): We connect the users data with professionals by creating an information sharing platform that enables users to share their health metrics with the right resources. This platform has many advantages such as... Healthcare practitioners can better monitor patients by the increased visibility into their health metrics FitnessConnect provides “Chat room” to talk with patients outside of a scheduled appointment 3. Resources: Healthcare practitioners then pass this information that was once just data back to the user II. Single Source of Truth In addition to creating an information sharing platform we also wanted to create an application that could keep track of your fitness and health metrics, dietary habits, medications and appointments all in one place which FitnessConnect also provides Benefit Users using it to share data with Healthcare Practitioners benefits are... Allowing medical professionals visibility into your daily health metrics and dietary habits enables users and healthcare practitioners to proactively fight possible health problems and opens a channel of communication

Target Market & Competition Users/Consumers of FitBit, Apple Watch etc. Healthcare Practitioners Through are research we found that three main users would benefit greatly from the creation of an application with the capabilities of Fitness Connect.
