What does program planning accomplish? “Program planning is evidence-based and future-oriented; program goals and objectives should guide assessment of student learning outcomes, faculty hiring, student recruitment and retention efforts, research, scholarship or creative activities (RSCA) by the faculty, and interaction with the community.” (Program Planning Guidelines)

The process of program planning Self-Study Semester One Meet with Dean to discuss program Gaither materials and complete self study Submit to dean for evaluation and feedback External Review Semester Two Reviewer selected and two day interview process on campus Reviewer submits report with summary and recommendations Review by PPC Semester Three PPC evaluates and provides recommendations to Provost Action plan set in consultation with Provost and program
