Hollywood is a part of Los Angeles, located on the north-west of the city center.   Hollywood has traditionally been associated with the American film industry, because in this area there are lots of studios, and it is a home for many well-known film actors.

There is world famous Walk of Fame - the sidewalk on Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, which has invested more than 2,600 five-pointed stars with the names of celebrities who have made great contributions to the development of the entertainment industry.

Before 1920 Hollywood became world-famous as the center of the film industry of the United States. Starting from the 1920s to the 1940s most of the transport in Hollywood and held back by "red cars" of the company «Pacific Electric Railway».
