Individual Differences

How could advertisement society help to create a more realistic image?

Now about YOU... What are the goals that you want to achieve? Are these realistic? Which way did you use to work for it and why did you choose to do so? Is there a (better) alternative to reach your goals? Could you imagine to replace (parts of) your routine by these alternatives? Fill in the given sheet by answering the questions in the way that is suitable for YOU!!!

Some Alternatives... vs.

Some Alternatives...

PAES are popular because... Summary PAES are popular because... ... there are high society-made expectations that are hardly to achieve without support ... society create a non-realistic image of how to look like that we internalize AND aggressive advertisement proposes that PAES are the only/best support BUT... ...all that glitters is not gold There are advantages as well as disadvantages of PAES What is shown on advertisement and social media does not often reflect reality

Conclusion / Take Home You are an individual and not what society tells you to be. You are responsible for your own body. What is suitable for others, does not have to be suitable for you. Thus: Think critically and evaluate the advertisement and social media properly to find the best individual handling for yourself!!!
