Social and community media what is it?

Social Action is a theory developed by social theorist Max Weber (1864-1920) and adopted by sociologists. Social Action Theory seeks to understand how individual make decisions and take action in relation to their social environments, this can be local, national or global. The theory is about how individuals interact with society i.e through cause and effect and how these actions affect the function and direction of society as a whole. Social Action Media is about group or individual actions to bring about change, which is recorded or promoted through the media.
