CoESS – UNI Europa - Joint Application - Call for Proposals VP/2013/001: WorkPlan The project comprised four main steps: Preparation and approval of the renewed manual (including the existing tools) - finished Translation of the renewed manual – almost finished Preparation and approval of the updated dedicated website - finished Dissemination and promotion activities - running Organisation of a closing workshop Encourage national members of CoESS and UNI Europa to disseminate, promote and use the manual at national level

Project Experts Committee The experts committee had a special focus on national procurement practices on the evolution of the European private security market. The experts committee has been supported by an external consultant for drafting and elaborating the renewed manual for the adequate integration of legal references and reference to additional relevant EU documents such as the European Commission guide on Buying Social into the handbook and the updated dedicated website.
IMPORTANT ROLE FOR THE NATIONAL MEMBERS input and guidance based upon the work of the Project Experts Committee European social partners ensure the national perspective is fully taken into account. The outcomes of the work of the experts committee transmitted to the European Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee for the private security services sector. Consultation with the competent European Commission services to ensure that the renewed manual fully complies with the updated EU public procurement legislative framework Consultation to national members and Social Dialogue Committee throughout the process
