Training Strategy Group 3 Participants: Camevet, Ukraine, Russia, India, Argentina, and Brazil

Grouping of trainings Quality Safety Efficacy *As quality concerns are universal, this should be the initial focus of trainings

Priorities Language is an issue Trainers must be well-trained first Regulators and industry must participate together at all levels. Flexibility to accommodate regional requirements and priorities is crucial Legal frameworks: in-country legislation must be assessed

Electronic Training Potential benefit in offering different levels of electronic training prior to face to face training Could provide background determine the desire to adopt/implement in the region and the need for specific trainings.

Evaluation of outcome Modules must be validated prior to being offered. After trainings, a committee should be formed to evaluate outcomes. Training alone is inadequate if outcomes are not evaluated.

Regional Priorities Local industry must be reached in each training region; they are the most relevant stakeholder, and outreach must focus on the benefit to them of the training. Local priorities are crucial, but quality issues are universal; quality trainings should be addressed first.
