Mission Background Coalition forces working with local forces to retake Fallujah from ISIS. All of ISIS forces have retreated to Fallujah. They have a lot of artillery, modified trucks, rockets, some captured armor and anti-aircraft platforms. ISIS suicide vehicles are high value targets. They will appear as armored vehicles (wheeled or tracked) without a gun tube. Friendly ground forces will depart their bases at 02:30 and should start arriving within artillery range by 03:15. The 1st VFW’s objective is to soften up targets starting at 03:00 and then provide CAS to our ground forces. Ground Forces

Kill Boxes We will be working in the 1BNE and 1BSE kill boxes. Although the FAC, callsign Weasel 51, may request air support in the other kill boxes as needed. Know the kill boxes in case they are referenced.

Flight Info Check in with Weasel 51 with: Callsign Package # No. of Aircraft Loadout Time on Station Datalink Address if in same package You will be assigned a killbox to work and given a brief description of targets, threats and weather. Expect Type III control. You will get a “Cleared to Engage” call which is your approval for multiple passes at your own discretion. However, you should still make IN HOT calls on UHF identifying your target and weapon being released.

Tankers Flights refueling during ingress need to stick to their assigned tanker (unless there is an issue). Ingress refueling flights have 20mins to complete refueling since the aircraft going direct to target will remain on station for 30mins or until relieved by another flight. Aircraft refueling post strike (as needed) can use any free tanker. Do NOT forget to clear the tanker
