Sound Production/Recording Mr. Hagemeister Hands on class for 11-12 graders *Heavy Participation- 10 points per class period- ex. - 42 class periods = 420 points Worksheets Projects- Acid Music/FL Studio/Audacity/Photo Story Quizzes/Tests Vocabulary Study Guides/ Final Test Live Sound Basics

Sound Production/Recording No Internet unless assignment involves it -5 No Computer Games -5 No phones needed for this class -5 Use your assigned computer for Acid work No non-loop material in my assigned Acid projects. No projects = NO GRADE Independent Practice- Responsibility

Sound Production/Recording Acid Projects- many Six-week graded projects- 50 points each Radio commercial projects- 25 points each Acid Video Projects- 10 points each/ 15 videos total, 5 due every six weeks.

Sound Production/Recording Grading JCHS’ straight grading scale 90-100 A 80-89 B 70-79 C 60-69 D Below F ***NO ROUNDING***

Sound Production/Recording Supplies Needed Daily Pen or Pencil (no highlighters/sharpies for written work) Paper *****Student Agenda***** Bring your own headphones. No Headphones = -5/Part. Good work ethic Responsibility

Sound Production/Recording During (Independent Practice) time: Work on Acid projects– SAVE early and often. Work on an assignments for me Work on an assignment for another class No Internet -5 No sleeping -5 No free, non-school-related socializing -5 Stay busy until 5 minutes to the bell. I will tell you when it’s time to log off. -5/ daily participation for infractions.

Sound Production/Recording Safety Information: Fire Drills/ Evacuation Exit the rear door of room and out the hallway where the busses drop off in the mornings. You should end up in the upper parking lot next to the Deever building. Stay together as a class, so I can account for everyone. Tornado Drills Directly out in the hall outside the room.
