Water Quantity and Quality Considerations of the Extension of SW 24th Avenue through NATL Acknowledgement: Mark Clark, Research Assistant Professor Soil and Water Science Department

The road will traverse a recharge area Most of the proposed roadway East of 34th Street is through a “closed basin” that has no surface outlet. The paved 24th Avenue extension will significantly reduce the area where storm water now collects and eventually seeps into the ground.
