Presentation transcript:

The Supreme Court Donald Trump Hillary Clinton Trump has praised the late Antonin Scalia as a model justice, saying Scalia’s career was “defined by his reverence for the Constitution ...” Trump harshly criticized the justices who overturned the Texas Abortion law and questioned their judgment. Trump released a list of potential conservative justices vetted in consultation with the Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society. Trump has said he will appoint conservative judges. He has also said the judges he appoints will be pro-life. Clinton told the Washington Times: “I would not appoint someone who didn’t think Roe v. Wade is settled law.” Clinton praised the justices’ 5-3 decision that severely limits the ability of states to regulate abortion. Clinton said she would strive to appoint judges in the mold of liberal Justice Sonia Sotomayor. Clinton is expected to appoint liberal judges and has said she will appoint only pro-abortion judges.

What does that mean to me? So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. James 4:17

What does that mean to me? I must vote! I need to vote based on God’s standards, not man’s!

What does that mean to me? I need to find the candidates that can best advance Biblical principles. I need to be willing to stand for God’s Word.

What does that mean to me? I should get involved in my community, etc.
