Global politics TFTW W/C 18th April

This Term we are looking at things going on around the world This week we are looking what is going on in the American Presidential elections. The elections aren’t until November but everybody is already talking about it. This is because the main parties, (the Democrats and the Republicans) are picking their candidates. Watch the video in this link to see how it works http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-35356941 (called Who gets to be the presidential pick for each party?)

Who has the most delegates at the moment For the Republicans = Donald Trump. For the Democrats = Hillary Clinton. Trump is a very successful business man and TV personality But he is also very controversial Why? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/03/22/donald-trumps- most-outrageous-quotes/

Finally In your planners, on today’s date, write down 3 things you have discussed during this session.
