What the Executive Branch does The executive branch of a government carries out law, puts law into effect, and treats with foreign nations. Carries out laws passed by congress.

The order of the government

What the president and vice president do for the executive branch The president is the executive branch with his advisors & the vice president. The president and vice president are part of the executive branch. In fact the president is in charge of the executive branch. The president is the leader of the country and commands the military. The vice president is the president of the senate and normal president if the real president can no longer do his job. They meet with other countries to make treaties. The president is the chief of government and is technically the boss of all government workers.

What the executive branch does The executive branch can`t reject bills or laws, but they can propose laws, veto laws, and can call special sessions of congress. They also can appoint federal judges, grant negotiates to pardon to the federal offenders. Lastly they can make appointments to federal parts and for foreign treaties.

Departments Independent agencies help carry out policies and or provide special services. The departments of the heads give advise to the president on issues and help carry out policies.
