Let’s begin today with a question… “Why?” “How?” “For…” vv 8 & 10.

“are ye saved” Past, present and future condition

The Past Condition “saved” Being rescued from, kept safe from and healed from our natural condition

The emphasis is upon what they are right now, in the present. The Present and Ongoing Condition “saved” The emphasis is upon what they are right now, in the present.

“by grace” The agency that caused them to be in their current and continuing condition.

Are we functioning sons and daughters in the House of God or are we just playing house?

Are we functioning members in the church of God or are we just playing church?

The plan of the Heavenly Father is for every believer to come under the roof of His house and be a functioning member in His house.

Following Jesus begins with salvation, but is only complete with being a functioning member in the Father’s House.
