Prepositions

What is a Preposition? A preposition is a part of speech that introduces a prepositional phrase.

What is a Preposition? A preposition describes a relationship between other words in a sentence.

For example, in the sentence Timothy sat on the raft., the word on is a preposition, introducing the prepositional phrase on the raft.
