Comparative: Long Adjectives: Tom is more intelligent than Tim b) Trisha is more talkative than her sister. c) L.A. is more famous than Miami. d) It’s more freezing today than yesterday.

Superlative: Long Adjectives San Francisco is the most beautiful city in CA. b) Chemistry is the most difficult subject in school. c) That is the most amazing movie I ever saw. d) We stayed at the most comfortable room in the hotel.

Comparative: Short Adjectives Thomas is shorter than his brother. Kids are noisier than elderly people. Sahara desert is bigger than Gibson desert. Football players are stronger than basketball players.

Superlative: Short Adjectives That was the coldest night of the year. Today is the happiest day of my life. Aretha is the thinnest person in my family. Our street is the straightest in the neighborhood.

Good / Bad / far : Comparative My new car is better than my old one. I slept better this night than the night before. b) This film was not as good as the last one. It was worse. Damn it! I did this test worse this time. c) My new school is farther from my house.

Good / Bad / far : Superlative Wow! This is the best picture of the album. I did my best. I hope it was enough. b) This was the worst day of all. We did the worst thing we could possibly wonder. c) Lincoln Shopping mall is the farthest one from here.

Comparative / Superlative of inferiority: This book is much less interesting than the last one I got. Actually, I think I got the least interesting book in the library.

Actions Comparison: The colder it gets, the more difficult it is to start the car. The older he gets, the more boring he gets. The more you smile, the more I like you. The farther it is, the less I want to walk.

Continuous Comparison: This girls is becoming more and more beautiful. Our city is getting more and more violent. The planet gets each day hotter and hotter. I’ve been working better and better. These people are getting less and less productive.
