Stable Shield “The Nasties”

Stable Shield HOW DOES IT WORK The proprietary technology and has three modes of action. When bacteria comes into contact with protected surface, the formulation prevents them from growing, producing energy or replicating, therefore they die. The formulation is incredibly durable, long lasting and highly active The agent forms an integral part of the product. It is inorganic and non-leaching which means that unlike organic antimicrobial technologies, it stays within the Stable Shield coating. The controlled release of the active formulation provides maximum antibacterial protection for the lifetime of the product. The formulation binds to the cell wall disrupting growth The formulation interferes with the enzyme production stopping the cell producing energy The technology interrupts the cells DNA preventing replication

Stable Shield A coating is currently classified as being antimicrobial if it is capable of preventing the growth of mould and/or bacteria by approximately 99.8% Certificated test results using the right test method provide objective proof of the coating system and are also accepted by various official bodies throughout Europe. Key aim of these test methods is to deduce practical antimicrobial properties from physical and chemical characteristics of the coatings. Another aim is to continually monitor and collect the practice based evidence. There are three major methods: ISO 22 196 TNO SEED LAYER TEST PRACTICE BASED TESTING
