What makes a good set of instructions?

A good set of instructions should include: Equipment needed Safety tips Clear, easily understandable sentences Bullet points or numbered steps Language to help you understand order like first, next, then, finally Diagrams

Instructions use imperatives Imperatives are verbs used: To give commands or instructions Give directions Make requests e.g. Please buy chocolate Give a warning
