childhood Born in 1946 in Queens, New York City. Son of Frederick Trump a builder and real estate developer in Queens. He was an energetic bright child His parents sent him to New York Military Academy. Went to Fordham University and then transferred to the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania Got a degree in economics.

childhood Trump followed the lead of his father in real estate with bigger goals ahead. Moved to Manhattan and started doing business with influential people.

Building an empire Trump built big complexes, entered the casino business during the 80’s (Trump plaza hotel, Trump Castel) . Married in 1977 to Ivana Zelnickova Winklmayr , a model. The Trump tower opened in 1982. Trump bought lots of properties and was responsible for lots of big investments in big cities.

Declining wealth The real estate market declined in 1990. Trump’s net value dropped from 1,7 billion $ to 500 million $. But rose again later to a net value worth of 2 billion $. Divorced Ivana and married to Marla Maples an actress, in 1993 to divorce in 1999.

Recruitment Trump currently in addition to his investments and business plans entered the TV business by launching a seasonal program called the “apprentice” that tests business minds and offers an opportunity to work with the business legend Donald Trump.
