Benjamin Brown Daven Bryner Zach Orme How Does the Height of a Professional  Boston Red Socks MLB Baseball Player Affect batting stats?

Why we Picked Baseball Batting Stats We picked this because we were wondering if a tall baseball player would really be a more consistent batter than a s maller baseball player, because they may have more strength or longer arms. We also thought it was a very interesting topic. We are hopping to find out that tall baseball players are more consistent  batters than smaller baseball players.

Where we got are data We got are information from   http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/boston-red-sox- team-roster It is a reliable source because it gave us all the accurate stats of the Boston Red Socks baseball players

Data and Graph

Conclusion We believe that the height of a Boston Red Socks player does not affect batting average. If height did affect batting average it would have been shown in the graph we made. Instead the dots are scattered all over the place. We think that batting percentage relies on their skill rather than their height.
