ETHICS

Ethics Definition: Ethics are standards of conduct and moral judgment; a system or code of morals of a particular group, profession or religion. Morals are intellectual standards of right and wrong. They are high or excellent standards of behavior, customs and habits.

Ethical Test: Is the action… Illegal? Violate Company Policy or Professional Standards? Who is affected, and how, by the action?

Ethical Reasoning tends to be thought of as: Consequences-based Rule-based

Ethics are (generally) reflected in the law.
