Multiplying and Dividing Integers Lesson 1-9 Multiplying and Dividing Integers

After it is launched a hot air balloon ascends at 15 ft/sec After it is launched a hot air balloon ascends at 15 ft/sec. How high is the balloon at 5 seconds?

Multiplication is just repeated addition

Rules for Multiplying The product of two positive numbers is a positive number. The product of two negative numbers is a positive number. The product of two integers with different signs is negative.

The same rules apply to division.

Examples

The product of zero and any integer is zero. Division by 0 is undefined.
