Purpose of Grants Encourage K-12 teachers to integrate technology into classroom curriculum in innovative ways to improve student achievement
Eligibility Must teach in an eligible Colorado school district or private school with in the CenturyLink service area. K-12 classroom teachers who spend at least 50 percent time in the classroom At least three years of classroom teaching experience Applicant cannot be involved in the procurement decisions regarding the purchase of the school’s telecommunications and internet services, including its participation, if any, in the E-Rate program Previous CenturyLink (Qwest) Teachers & Technology awardees are not eligible
Award Information Grants are to be utilized by teachers to benefit students in their classrooms Individual grants will not exceed $5,000 Funds will be granted directly to the teacher or team leader
Narrative be sure to include: Goals & objectives Impact on school and community Innovative ways to improve / enhance curriculum Impact on student achievement
Budget Explain the research behind the numbers Be sure to include: Sustainability plan including regular maintenance and updates / upgrades Installation
