CSIP Connections The district will demonstrate annual improvement in student achievement as measured by local, state and national assessments. The needs addressed by student interventions answer the third Professional Learning Question: What do we do if a student does not initially learn?

Program Purpose & Impact of Program Student Intervention is a district-wide framework for improving learning for all students. The framework is divided into two broad categories: academic and behavioral. Intervention programs in the Raymore-Peculiar School District include the following aspects: universal screening in fall, winter, and spring; systematic progress monitoring, and data-driven decision making.

2010-2011 data Focus Room Total Minutes (out of the classroom and in Focus) for the 10-11 K-8 was over 9300 hrs 1217 students had minutes logged in the K-8 focus room (out of 4119 K-8 students in RP) Of the 1217 students: 60 students (5%) accounted for 6040 (64%) 4,104 “reactive*” visits; Total “reactive” mins= 4362:49 hrs [AVG visit: 64 mins] 9200 “proactive**” visits; Total “proactive” mins=5134:35 hrs [AVG visit: 33 mins]

2010-2011 data English language learners In grades K-4, 93.3% of students showed progress in reading . The average progress was 3.3 levels. In grade 5, one of two are reading on grade level. In grades 7-12, 5/10 students or 50% showed progress in reading SRI scores. Four of ten or 40% of students are on grade level in reading.

2011-12 SMART Goals & Indicators of Success By Spring, > 82% of students will be proficient or advanced as measured by Acuity Predictive Math Assessments (2nd-10th grade). By Spring, > 82% of students will be proficient or advanced as measured by Acuity Predictive Communication Arts (2nd-10th grade.) By Spring, > 85% of student will be at proficient according to Achievement Percentages data (respective to grade level, 1st-8th grades) on AIMSweb Reading-Curriculum Based Measurement and MAZE.

2011-12 SMART Goals & Indicators of Success RPHS 2012 graduates will achieve an ACT Composite score of 22.9 or higher. The district will be in the top 10% on Adequate Yearly Progress of Missouri districts with a student population of 4,000-8,000. Total number of hours students spend in the Focus Rooms will decrease by 5%. Total number of hours accumulated by students out of the classroom for greater than one hour will decrease by 15%.
