Dynamics analysis program Introduction As a group of application interfaces based on Python 2.6x Functions Transient and stationary response of dynamics equations: Can consider nonlinear affects. With Newmark method & central difference method. Can Import matrix exported from ANSYS. Can give the DFT results of transient response. All results can be given in graphic forms. Slipping during whole circle Sticking during whole circle Dry friction damper of torsional vibration Introduction & Typical working conditions The principle of dry friction damper: Normal pressure causes maximum static friction force; Relative motion happens only when external force become larger than static friction force, then the dynamic friction force occurred at the interface; Dynamic friction causes some negative work -> damping effects. Due to different normal pressure, damper and target may: Contacted too strict to have relative motion; [ No damping] Contacted too slack to have pauses; [Damping] Have two pauses per circle under property normal pressure.
