Remember what He can do. Isaiah 40:21-24 Isaiah 40:29 – God helps the weak and helpless. Isaiah 40:30-31 – God helps those who are willing. He had proved it with the nation.

Remember what He can do. 2 Corinthians 4:16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me. Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Wait on the Lord. Isaiah 40:31 – God makes great promises to those who will wait on Him. Why did Abraham and Sarah have to wait 25 years before God gave them a son? Why did Israel have to wait 400 years to be delivered from Egyptian bondage? Why did Israel have to suffer 40 years in the wilderness, waiting for the Promised Land? Why did David have to wait until Solomon was king before the temple could be built? Why did mankind have to wait so long until the coming of a Savior?
