Define Your SSU e-mail address and Your office 365 Username? * SSU e-mail address : “Firstinitial_lastname@salemstate.edu” (Navigator Office 365 Student Email ( Under “My page”) * Office 365 username: S + 7 Digit@salemstate.edu e.g: s0123456@salemstate.edu
Password? * Navigator password * Reset password: Navigator website ( From SSU homepage - Logins – Navigator – Forgot Password? )
For Android Devices Open your e-mail client and choose add account: -Email address: Your SSU e-mail address -Password: Your navigator password Tap Manual Setup: -Choose Exchange Domain\Username: Your Office 365 Username Password: Your navigator password Server: outlook.office365.com Check “use secure Connection (SSL)” Port: 443 Security Type: SSL Leave the IMAP Prefix Path blank Tap Next -Select What you would like to be synced -Tap next again -Choose a name for this account -Tap Next Your device is now configured. Please wait a few minutes for your messages to sync
For iOS Devices -Go to Setting -Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars -Tap Add Account -Tap Exchange -Fill in the fields: Address: Your SSU E-mail address Password: Your navigator password Description: SSU Student E-mail -Tap Next Fill in the following additional information: Server: outlook.office365.com Username: Your office 365 Username Password: Your navigator PW -Tap Next to verify settings -tap Save to save settings Your device is now configured. Please wait a few minutes for your messages to sync
For Windows Phone Devices -Open the mail application on your home screen -Tap “Add an account” -Choose Outlook -Fill in the fields: Email Address: Your SSU E-mail Address Password: Your Navigator PW -Tap “Sign In” -You will get the message “We couldn’t find your settings” -Select Advanced * Fill in the following additional information: E-mail address: Your SSU E-mail address Password: Your Navigator PW User name: Your Office 365 Username Domain: Leave blank Server: outlook.office365.com -Select “Server requires encrypted (SSL) connection” box. -Tap “Sign In” -Tap “OK”. Your device is now configured. Please wait a few minutes for your messages to sync
