Classroom Rules  No food, gum, or drinks in the classroom  Do not touch any materials in Miss C's desk  Raise your hand before speaking  Stay in your assigned seat  Be courteous and respectful to others (NO PUT- DOWNS)  Take care of the classroom and school property  Put all trash in the trash cans (NOT on the floor!)  Use appropriate language (NO cussing or harassment)  Follow all school rules at all times!!

Additional Performance Required Performance  There are two required performances  Winter Evening Concert on 12/12/2013 (Thursday)  Spring Evening Concert on 5/1/2014 (Thursday) Additional Performance  CMS Feeder Schools Concert on 12/19/2013 (Thursday) (6th Grade Only)  CMS Morning Concert on 12/20/2013 (Friday)

Grading Policy  50% Exam  35% Class Participation  10% Materials i) Instrument ii) Band Method Book iii) Notebook iv) Music  5% Homework Assignments

Field Trip Performance Policy  Student’s grade for each playing exams in band class has to be 90 or above.  All the student’s subject grades have to be C or above such as math, reading, social studies & band etc.  His or her conduct grade has to be satisfactory (S)  No ISS or OSS  He or she cannot forget to bring his or her instrument, going home or coming to school more than 3 times for each 9 weeks grading period.  Perfect test score for multiplication table from 0x to 12x Note: Student will not have any field trips if he or she does not participate the CMS Winter Evening Concert or CMS Spring Evening Concert.

Homework/Practice Requirements  Each student requires to practice his or her instrument at least 90 minutes per week.  I suggests practice 30 minutes per day.  Students are required to turn in their practice log on EVERY FIRST DAY OF CLASS IN EACH WEEK.

NOTEBOOK INFORMATION  1” 3 ring binder with pocket (Students can keep their band method book inside this pocket.)  10 paper protector (Students can keep their sheet music in these protectors.)  10 sheet papers (Students can take note on this paper.)
