Player Expectations On the Playing Field In the Classroom Never quit attitude Pride in the uniform and in the facility we use In the Classroom Eligibility isn’t enough Our performance in the classroom collectively as a team is more important than anything we do on the field. Develop time management skills Within the Community Be a positive role model – “who are you when no one is watching?” Wearing our hats/jackets/jerseys is a privilege

Absence and No Show Absence – You were not there but YOU (player) notified the coach before hand. It is the players responsibility, not their parent (unless emergency), to notify the coach. Prefer face to face communication with coach, however email is also acceptable if player is out of school sick. 2 ABS = Sit 1 Game 4 ABS = Sit 2 Consecutive Games 5 ABS = Player is Removed From Team

What you can Expect from Coaches We will make decisions that are best for the team/program We will be honest with you and your son We will discipline each athlete equally and hold athletes to a very high standard Help develop your son physically, mentally and emotionally Teach your son life lessons through the game of baseball

Appropriate Concerns to Discuss With a Coach Coach’s interactions with your son How the coach can help your son become a better athlete and student Concerns about your son’s interactions with others Playing at the next level - College

Areas Left to the Discretion of the Coach Team Strategy Other athletes or other situations not involving your son Play Calling Playing Time
