Our History Organization Founded in 2006 The Louisburg Club was first location in service area Vance County opened in 2007 Granville County opened in 2011 Warren County opened in 2015 Began serving youth in Halifax county in 2016 through organizational merger Currently serving over 1,600 members across our service area through 8 locations Excited about opening our 9th location in Franklinton soon!

Who we serve! All school aged youth (5-18) of Franklin County are welcome at The Boys & Girls Club We currently serve youth from Edward Best Elementary, Laurel Mill Elementary, Louisburg Elementary, Royal Elementary, Terrell Lane Middle, Louisburg High School and Vine Academy Current membership – 292 Teen membership - 48 Afterschool registration – 80 2017 Summer registration -122 2017 Summer ADA – 55 Current Schools served: Edward Best Laurel Mill Terrell Lane Louisburg Elementary Louisburg High School Royal Elementary Vine Academy Franklinton Middle Coming Soon!

What We Do Provide Programs in Three Focus Areas Academic Success Good Character & Leadership Healthy Lifestyles Other programs include JCPC participation Afterschool & Summer feeding program- served 16,819 meals/snacks in 2016 here in Franklin County

Transportation Our Boys & Girls Club bus picks up kids from Laurel Mill Elementary, Edward Best Elementary, and Terrell Lane Middle A Franklin County School bus drops kids off at the club every afternoon from Royal Elementary and Louisburg Elementary

Day of Caring 2017 The United Way of Franklin County provided a Day of Caring to the Boys & Girls club, enlisting over 75 volunteers and many donations from the community to rejuvenate our club! Day of Caring Highlights: Playground beautification Installation of outdoor basketball goals Paving of the basketball court Raised flower beds Painting of the cafeteria and lobby A large mural for the outside of the building Installation of an outdoor classroom

Summer Brain Gain Summer Brain Gain is a fun, interactive learning program designed for summer in the club! Summer learning loss effects all kids during summer breaks but especially those who do not participate in enriching summer activities All members of our summer camp participated in 2 hours of Summer Brain Gain every single day of our summer camp
