Income Statement Micro-Pinoy

Income Statements Click on the worksheet tab labeled “INCOME STATEMENTS”. You do not have to input anything here. This is an output of Micro-Pinoy that shows you the monthly level of income and expenses of the microfinance operations.  It also indicates the month when the microfinance operations start making positive income. This is shown in “Net Income before Income Tax (cells F50 to AC50).

Income Statements The “Cumulative Net Income” (cells F51 to AC51) suggests the month when the microfinance operations break-even, that is, all the losses incurred in previous months are recovered. This is the month when the figure in any cells F51 to AC51 is positive.   For easier identification, any negative figure in any of the following items will automatically show up in a red font: Total Financial Income, Gross Financial Margin, Net Financial Margin, Net Income before Income Tax, and Cumulative Net Income.

Income Statements If you are not satisfied with the income results, you may go back to any of the preceding worksheets to make your input adjustments. If you make any further adjustments, you have to go back to the “CASHFLOW” worksheet to check the cash surplus/deficiency levels. You may have to redo the steps enumerated in “CASHFLOWS.” Check: Positive net income is first generated in Month 7, with net income of P6,526; loan portfolio of P1,330,996; and 189 active borrowers. Break-even is attained in Month 19, with cumulative net income of P12,531; loan portfolio of P4,630,579; and 447 active borrowers.

Income Statements   TO PRINT: If you wish to automatically print the figures from months 1 to 24, click the button labeled “CLICK HERE TO PRINT THE MONTHLY FIGURES” adjacent to the top rows of the worksheet. On the other hand, if you wish to print only a summary, check the button labeled “CLICK HERE TO PRINT THE SUMMARY”. It will print the figures (rounded-off to the nearest one-thousand) for the following periods: (a) Months 1 to 6 (b) Year 1 (c) Year 2 (d) Years 1 and 2 (consolidated). AVAILABLE CHARTS: Micro-Pinoy provides you with two commonly used charts: (a)   Breakeven Point (b)   Net Income
