How to Create a Ted Ed Lesson Step 04 Create a Lesson: Video Ted makes it very easy for you to create your own lesson. They tell you exactly what you need to do. The first thing you need to do is find a video. If you have the URL, copy and paste it into the search box. If you don’t have a URL, you can search with key terms in the search box. My suggestion is to find a video no more than 10-12 minutes long. Choose something that relates to the material you want to teach or create your own YouTube videos and use those for a truly original and unique experience! How to Create a Ted Ed Lesson Congratulations! Congratulations on creating your Ted Ed Talk! Your students now will be able to get a customizable lesson that relates to your content. This lesson will not only allow your students to critically think about the material in a different way but it will give them access to material and learning in a 21st century way. While the videos are running, students are able to answer the questions. In order to deliver the material, all you have to do is provide the link of the Ted Ed talk to your students. You can email, Tweet, Facebook, or put it on your School’s Learning Management System as an assignment. In order for your students to complete the assignment they must first register with Ted Ed, just like you did, before they are able to answer any questions. Once registered, they will be able to answer the questions.
