What is a compass rose?
A compass rose is a figure on a compass or a map that is used to show the orientation of the cardinal directions, NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and WEST on a map with their intermediate directions. A compass rose and the cardinal and intermediate directions are important in helping to know which way to go!
