Prof Stuart Turley Stuart Turley has held a Chair in Accounting at the University of Manchester since 1994. He has held visiting appointments in Sweden, Denmark and Australia. Between 2002 and 2012 he was a member of the Auditing Practices Board (within the Financial reporting Council), which set practice and ethical standards for auditors in the UK and Ireland. He has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the European Auditing Research Network since its inception, serves on the editorial boards of several journals, and was formerly a member of the Research Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland.
