C U E BQ: What happened at the Siege of Jerusalem in 1099? Year 7 History Crusades: L6 – Siege of Jerusalem 1099 BQ: What happened at the Siege of Jerusalem in 1099? Read p124+125 of Think History. (You can also read the higher level sources and look at the images on the white-board to find out more.) Use what you find out to create one of the following in your History Book. 1) A newspaper account of the battle and what has happened OR A detailed entry to go into a History Text Book (in your own words) OR A letter from a crusader writing to his wife back home. CHALLENGE Quote and use some of the higher level sources in your response. Make sure you include some of the E ideas. C Have you included all the ways the Crusaders tried to attack the city? Have you explained why the crusaders are attacking the city? Have you added dates and casualty numbers? Content. Description, knowledge and facts CLUE Use the PINK “Think History” book if you are really struggling. The events of the battle are bullet pointed and easier to understand.
