Robinwood staff wash and dry any wet and dirty clothes from the days activities and return them to the children. Only if they are labelled!! Labelled – maybe up to 8 children in a dormitory, some rooms are quite small. No aerosols.

Things to Bring All specialist equipment is provided. Robinwood also provides a selection of additional clothing, which includes: heavy duty waterproof cagoules, heavy duty waterproof over trousers, warm fibre pile tops, warm fibre pile mittens, heavy duty wellies, footwear for water sports activities, full sets of clothing for the piranha pool additional towels. There is no need to go out and buy anything special. Old clothes are best!

No other food allowed – they won’t be hungry or have time to eat! No food allowed on coach or in dormitories.

Meals and Snacks The children will be really well fed at all mealtimes. The children have some element of choice. Please let us know on the personal information form if your child is a vegetarian, has any allergies etc or is exceptionally fussy. Fruit/biscuits are available all day, as are water and juice.

Sleeping Arrangements Practise putting on duvet cover and pillowcase! Rooms sleep 6 to 8 children. Staff rooms are on the same corridor. Robinwood Night duty staff patrol the corridors all night and will alert EAPS staff if there is a problem or if anyone is upset. The dormitories will be sorted out nearer the date but again children will be placed with at least one friend. Everyone to bring a teddy bear. Bathrooms are on the same corridor as the bedrooms.

Sleeping Arrangements No one is allowed back in the rooms until bedtime. This is around 9, with lights out at 10. Children take a kitbag with them during the day. Robinwood staff go in during the day, check beds and change sheets where necessary. Call button like ones in a nursing home to alert the night duty staff to a problem.
