Clifford the Fire House Dog The Fox and the Falling Leaves Mrs. Monacelli`s Class Week of October 10th What we did this week: We learned all about fire prevention. The school started off the week with the fire department coming to visit and talking about how to keep safe when there is a fire-we also got to go inside the ambulance and the fire truck, as well as spraying the fire hose! We made a chart about fire fighters, what they have, what they can do and what they are….check it out in our room for conferences! Math Centers: Number 3 in workbooks along with a stamp the number three worksheet and practice writing the number three. The other center was Roll and stamp fire truck We also worked on how to fill out a graph We reviewed the letters L and F- the sound that they make and the way we make them from top to bottom. We also review Mat man and how we draw a person with a body- we then drew our own mat man again! Reminders/ Important Class Info Don’t forget your conference time tonight or tomorrow morning Basses Pumpkin Farm Field trip Monday-dress for the weather/bring pillow case with child's name on it.
