Poster Challenge
Imagine….. It is 1900. Your have grown up in a mining family. You work as a Hewer. There have been changes in Mining that have improved your life at work and home. This is due to new safety laws and technology.
In groups of 4 or 5 Produce one large poster or a series of smaller posters – in colour! They must show dangers in the coal mines and how they were reduced. Come up with a group slogan summing up how you all feel about your jobs in the mine. A 3 minute presentation explaining your work – On Monday!
Remember… Use Your jotters and the booklets. You only have today and Thursday! Every group member must help create and present the work!
