Target Objective: Who am I?

Essential Question: Who are you?

Task… Take 15 to 20 minutes to write a poem called “I am”

Guidelines for “I am” Poem Only rule is … each line begins with the words I am….

Suggestions for “I am” Poem Where they're from regionally Ethnically/ Culturally Significant Memories from different points in their lives Religiously

Suggestions for “I am” Poem interests and hobbies mottos family traditions and customs favorite phrases whatever else defines who they are

You will be sharing your “I am” Poem with the class!!

Example of I am Poem I am soccer, basketball & Chess Mom. I am Coffee and lasagna with warm brownies. I am books and movies with a warm blanket I am ”everyone is still working on themselves.” & “Its ok to be a Masterpiece and a work in progress at the same time.” I am graduate, lifetime learner I am mom, wife, daughter, and friend I am coach mom, referee.
