About the Department One of the leading Departments since the establishment of Chakdaha College (1974). Initiated General Course at the outset The Honours Course started in 2015. The Department started with two eminent teachers, namely Prof. Amal Guha and Prof. Bratati Singha Roy (Retired). There are 2 full time faculties and 4 guest lecturers at present.
