The Rules The Four (4) P 's: Prompt Prepared Polite Positive

Objectives Writing: Focus will be on good paragraph structure, general essay format, thesis statements and effective research writing using MLA format.

Objectives Literature: Using independent reading strategies, short stories, poetry, drama, and novels will be read and analyzed.

Objectives Speech: Students are expected to respond aloud in class, and everyone will have opportunities to present to the class collaboratively and individually.

Objectives Grammar, Usage, and Vocabulary: Vocabulary units will come from readings. Grammar and usage issues will be addressed when editing writing.

Making The Grade Grading in this class is very simple: the number of points gained divided by the number of points possible. Students are responsible for asking for help and making up work. HomeLogic is updated weekly.
