WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT EAGLES Empowering and Activating the young Generation through the Learning of Employability Skills. WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT Aim Tackle the youth unemployment problem Develop important employability skills to young job seekers Enhance positive emotions, psychological resilience, optimism and self–esteem. How Development of a very innovative and practical training package which will be utilised by Youth Workers

STEPS OF THE PROJECT Literature Review analysis and a detailed review of previous literature in a national and European level National Needs’ Analysis identification of existing gap in employability skills in EU countries (online questionnaires given to employers and employees)

The eight skills Communication Team work/ networking Positivity 1 Communication 2 Team work/ networking 3 Positivity 4 Resilience 5 Critical Thinking 6 Innovation and Creativity 7 Self-awareness 8 Being driven The eight skills identified as lacking in the young unemployed group when compared to the employers expectations and considerations.

TRAINING OF YOUTH WORKERS EAGLES: Empowering and Activating the Young Generation through the Learning of Employability Skills MODULE1 MODULE 2 MODULE 3 MODULE 4 MODULE 5 POSITIVITY COMMUNICATION CREATIVITY SELF-AWARENESS RESILIENCE Theoretical background on Resilience Practical activities to find out resilience level and how to enhance it.
