Math: We have really started taking money and adding amounts together. For example 42 cents +9 cents. We have learned how to draw tens and ones and count on, or make a new group of 10 with 10 ones! Book Reviews: We will start doing some opinion writing. Comparing and stating why one thing is better than the other. For example: Why strawberries are better than watermelon! Science: We are beginning to write a non-fiction book about chicks and their life cycle. Be asking your child what they are learning about each day! We expect the baby chicks to hatch right around May 2nd Also, our caterpillars have arrived. We have 6 of them!
