REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS Students MUST pass all courses as subjected to faculty requirements, except for student of B.Accounting from FBTA and students of B.Education (teaching) from FEH. FORMS Students can get the Internship Registration Application form from SCS counter at level 3, Wing A, Unitar MC

INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT PROCESS FOR FBTA Submit the registration form to STARS Course Audit Process Pass - proceed to next level Fail - admin will call student personally - end Admin will email Internship Placement Application form (GL) after two weeks registration (depend on audit process) Students can get the list of companies from Uniec Virtual. If any company offer for practical, please get the job description first, then send to alimshakoor@unitar.my DO NOT SIGN ANY OFFER LETTER with company before you job description (JD) approved by Mr. Alim Shakoor Once approved, student MUST get the company to: 1. Complete the GL 2. Return the completed GL to admin’s email at norhani@unitary.my Admin to send the internship confirmation letter to company and copy to student’s email (personal and Unitar) Student must download evaluation form & log book from Uniec Virtual - Student to submit report to faculty - End of internship

Complete the GL and return it back to STARS office / norhani@unitar.my Admin will send the internship confirmation letter to company and copy to student’s personal and Unitar’s email Student will receive their supervisor’s names from email. - Student submit report to faculty - end of internship

INTERNSHIP PLACEMENT PROCESS FOR INDUSTRY PARTNER (IP) Submit the registration form to STARS Course Audit Process Pass - proceed to next level Fail - student receives call from admin Student MUST send their resume with photo to greg@unitar.my Admin will send the student’s resume and transcript to Unitar’s Industry Partner for internship placement Admin will inform student on application status after 3 weeks registration 1. If accepted, student can make *preparation to undergo internship 2. If rejected, student can re-apply to other IP or Non-IP Student will receive their supervisor’s names from email. - Student submit report to faculty - end of internship

PROCESS OF PRACTICUM (10 WEEKS) AT SEK. KEB. (SK) / SEK. MEN. KEB. (SMK) Submit registration form to STARS Course Audit Process Pass - proceed to next level Fail - student receives call from admin Admin prepare and send application letter to schools Once confirmed by school, student to collect Report Duty (RD) letter from STARS office Student to bring the RD to school on their first day practicum for attendance confirmation School or student to return the completed RD answer slip to norhani@unitary.my (use your handphone camera) Student to submit report to faculty at the end of internship

PROCESS OF PRACTICUM (4 WEEKS) AT SEK. KEB. (SK) / SEK. MEN. KEB. (SMK) Admin to send the (General Letter) GL to intern’s personal and Unitar’s email Student use the GL to find placement Once accepted by company, student MUST get the company to: 1. Complete the GL and return it back to norhani@unitary.my Based on information in the GL, admin will send the internship confirmation letter to company and copy to student’s personal and Unitar’s email - Student submit report to faculty - end of internship

ATTACHMENT CONFIRMATION REPLY FORM The confirmation of the Industrial Training / Practicum attachment is done once the training organization submits the general letter (GL) to STARS. Title

COMPANY RULES & REGULATIONS CHANGE OF PLACEMENT/RESIGN Students are NOT ALLOWED to change their training center once confirmation has been made with STARS. If insist, please consult with STARS for any problems. TERMS & CONDITION Students are required to COMPLY & FOLLOW the organizations’ rules and regulations during the training.

MEDICAL & ATTENDANCE MEDICAL REPORT STARS will only consider a change to new training center with the presence of medical report for any medical reasons or any other reasons, which caused the absence of student. ATTENDANCE/ABSENCE Students are NOT ALLOWED to take any leave. But, if the student has to go for emergency/medical leave, PLEASE INFORM the employer accordingly and show the concrete evidence to support your leave.

COST Students should bear all cost pertaining to their internship/practical training. The department or company of the attachment, MAY, with their generosity, give you an incentive for your services.
