Choosing Sides During the American Revolution November 7, 2014 Choosing Sides During the American Revolution A Loyalist, a Patriot or Neutral? You may sit with a partner of your choice. Have your out on your desk where I can see it. Read and start to respond to “What were the real motives behind the actions of the Founding Fathers”

Read the sheet “The Early Years of the War” and answer the questions with your partner on the “Loyalists or Patriot” paper. Be ready to discuss the information.

The Native Americans and the slaves were split on who they fought with. Many African Americans were allowed to fight in the revolution. About 5,000 fought in the Continental Army.
